She was lying face down in her pillow, exhausted but grateful for the comfortable bed. She closed her eyes and slept. After a while, she realised someone was in the room with her, behind her. She couldnt turn around coz she knew she couldnt move. It was as though her whole body was paralysed.

A woman spoke in English. Then she felt the woman's hands on her back, stroking her and then all of a sudden, she felt the woman's fingernails in her hair, scratching her. She couldnt scream nor say anything. It was as though she was mute, but she endured the pain well.

Soon, the woman and the pain disappeared and she found herself able to move again and as she turned around, her phone vibrated, indicating a message has entered her phone. She looked around with her sleepy eyes and continued sleeping.

Valentine's Day

Its Valentine's Day. The most romantic day of the calendar....to some of us though.

Today is soo not a day for studies. I tried and I failed.

Suddenly got a craving for McFlurry in the afternoon. It was hot and it felt like I was in an oven, baking myself.

Ranted to a friend and she agreed to go out with me. ^^

Finally got a "date" for today. Feeling elated as I got to stretch my legs :D The rebellious part of me was jumping up and down with joy as well.

Reached McD, ordered McFlurry and got a shock.

For the usual size of McFlurry has changed into....

#%^S$ So small????

Since the size shrunk, the price has to be reduced as well. McFlurry now costs RM3.85, compared to RM4.10 last time.

Why does the food in fast food restaurants have to shrink all the time? T.T

Old Friends

On the first night of CNY, I received an invitation from a good friend of mine, Anita, about a gathering in Lake Gardens the next morning. We would be taking photos, she said.

My first thought was : Why there? The sun will be up by 9am, and it would be really REALLY HOT!

Still, I made it to the venue although I was a few minutes late. Lay Ann, Anita, Mei Yuin, Fenq and Su Yee were already there, later joined by Annie.

A bunch of us, good friends since school days, studying in different places after school, caught up with each other, laughed and joked like old times before each and everyone of us went our separate ways after that.

Frustration

Reborn

I know, I havent been updating here for a long long time. Some people have already asked me to update my blog several times. A thousand apologies because my "Create Post" page does not load properly due to the connection I have in my uni. [sucks!]

I have been busy, involved with activities and also tests! On last Friday, I was involved in the Amazing Race for Engineering Week, as a VOLUNTEER! I was helping out at a station where I could torture the participants when they arrive, making them do things that they dont feel like doing but they have to since its a race and they wanna win and all. LOL..Unfortunately, I helped out at a station where the participants need to unscramble a puzzle and if they are successful, they would be told where their next destination would be. So yeah, I did not get to torture any one of them =p

On Sunday (11 Jan), I was involved in Exploria organized by Kelompok Murni. For those not from UNITEN, Kelompok Murni is where I stay. Exploria is similar to Amazing Race, except that each team has 4 or 5 members. I teamed up with four other Malay girls. 7 Botswanian girls participated in this event, which was kinda cool. We ran all over UNITEN, completing tasks, both physically and mentally and it was nice to actually won second place in Exploria. ^^ We received a hamper and started dividing the food among overselves. Naresh's birthday and EMD test 1 was on 14 Jan. The test was ok, I guess. After the test, it was PARTY TIME! We went to a steak house in Cheras Selatan - Milwaukee - to have our dinner. LOL..The place was awesome, with good food [but friggin' expensive =.='''] and also a live band! ^^

The next thing to look forward for is the Numec test on next Friday. Why the lecturers schedule it the day where we could all be on our way back for CNY, I really have no idea. CNY is about a week away...

New Year's Eve

I dropped by a booth set up in the foodcourt on New Year's Eve. Kelv was curious because ppl around us had some McD brochure, and thus concluded they must have got it from the booth. When we reached the booth, we were asked to do a sound test and to fill up a survey on our preferred MP3 player. Then we were handed these :

Also, I would like to wish HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone. May 2009 be better than 2008. Haha..Expecting to see my list of resolutions for this year? Of course, I do have resolutions like everybody else. Nah, not gonna list them down here =p
